With a valid Canadian study permit, you can get a work permit:
Work permits campus: work outside the institution you are studying, you need:
there is a valid educational permit
record full-time in a course other than English or French as a second language (ESL / FSL)
attend a course that takes more than 6 months
Work authorization is automatic and is not required to request a special permit. The student is allowed to work part-time during the study and full-time during the holidays.
College of Work in the Cooperative / Internship - Work or Internship: If you have a valid study permit and need your work experience study program, you can apply for a work permit.
To apply for a work permit, the following requirements must be met:

enroll in a Professional / College course
The desired job should be an integral part of your Canadian training course
Your job should be certified as part of the academic program of an academic leader of your institution
Your work in Co-op or internship may not exceed 50% of the total study program (50% study / 50% work) ......
